I really enjoyed this series though I had a problem with some of the characters and their actions. The relationship between Isabella and Nicolai is very demeaning, abusive and difficult to understand. One minute he's stabbing himself because he can't live without her then within a weeks time, he moves on to someone else without so much as a word to Isabella. What a pig!The rest of the characters Isabella claims to be her friends, and even her parents, don't seem to have any redeeming qualities either. No one seems to have her best interest at heart and all seem to have their own agendas or not so secretly hate her.
I truly felt sorry for the girl. Everyone wanted to control her but no one was willing to teach her or explain things to her as she muddled through each new facet of her powers. One of the parts that made me laugh, because it was so cute, was when Isabelle and her "children" went to the park.
This series is definitely worth the read.

The story was lovely and interesting
I enjoyed the first book enough to buy the 1-6 volume pack, much to my regret. The sencond book make me want to stop reading but I pressed on hoping it would straighten out in the end. Into the third I got fed up and stopped reading. I got tired of the main character being a total sult contantly cheating on everyone then being dumb founded when she gets treated like s*** all to come cralling back to the people to lie and hurt her. If anything I felt more and more like the books were trying to convay that it was normal for woman to be treated in such low regard. Despite being male my self, I feel that when asked what the book was about I kept having to explain how mistreated every relation in book was to the point of degrading social interaction let alone the random intercorse with every person she saw fit.
I do regret buying this, I have to respect that if you are into this kind of book then by all means go for it. But if you are looking for a decent romance noval, I would suggest you look else where. Don't let the first book fool you.
Good read. It is a dark book so don't expect happy story.
Well written, and flows really well. I recommend this book to any paranormal readers!
Hot sexy and on fire!
I love ellas writing it has its on signature in how she writes she brings alive my deepest fantasies, tell me who wouldn't love more then one man in your life if it could be easy well for our dear bella her life is about to get complicated with more than her share of paranormals.
Its sexy and spicy with a great story to boot, so if you see yourself looking at this book there is a reason its telling you to read it.
OK so your main character went from virgin to sleeping with three other characters in what is supposed to be a week timeline, and every man in the story kissed her like 5 minutes after they meet. Immature plot line I kept waiting for the main character to grow up and stop acting five.
I found this book by Ella Price a must read for everyone who enjoys reading paranormal romance. I read it in one sitting. Her storylines have a habit of pulling me in and not letting go until I'm done. The main characters Isabella (human) meets Nicolai (vampire) and she is equally drawn to him as well as scared of him. Nicolai can't seem to stay away from her and they fall in love. They have to overcome many dangerous situations in order to stay together. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
