I wasn't sure but am now, this is white trash in disguise. Seriously, as soon as I cracked it open, I realized I bought a glorified dog calendar. I mean, sure, I'm a dog guy, but we're not talking about warm and fuzzy Shih-Tzus puppies here -- these are overgrown, long haired, developmentally disabled German Shepherds. Substitute the poop infested backyard for snow-covered forests, and *boom* you're ready to go!Sick to death of Waterfalls and Lighthouses for the very narrow wall where I hang these Vertical Format calendars (note: actually, they were sold out!) and unable to locate Skyscrapers or Wrecked Steam Locomotives Standing Upright, Amazon basically foisted One Wolf No Moon on my wish list.
The satisfying thing is, 14 days in to the new year, all of the weekdays and dates have been correctly matched up, as have the holidays. And looking forward another two weeks, it appears this meticulous attention to detail continues. Yay, Gladstone Media Corp! My fingers are crossed that this preciseness continues for the following 11 months, so that I don't take my recycling can out to the curb for pick-up on the wrong week.
However, given that my selection of tall 'n skinny calendar subjects is severely limited to canines, lighthouses, and falling water, we are now shopping for a new house, one without a skinny wall, so that we may broaden our 2012 calendar selection.

I like this narrow and reinforced calendar for hanging inside my pantry closet door. The metal hanger insures that the calendar won't tear or fall down. The slender fit is ideal for hanging on the back of a door or in narrow spaces. The subjects in the calendar are nature orientated, which is ideal for me. Good quality photos and images. I've purchased this brand of calendar now for several years due to it's pleasant appearance and utility.
